Trail's End Inn – High Peak Hideaway

Tucked away at the end of a private mountain road in Keene Valley, near a pond at the trail head to Rooster’s Comb peak, you’ll find the aptly named, Trail’s End Inn. Here, in the High Peaks, this rustic 1902 Adirondack bed and breakfast lodge provides access to the endless fun found in Lake Placid, including Olympic downhill and cross-country skiing, just a short drive away. Winter rates for two guests range from $100 a night for a shared bath to $165 for a room with a fireplace and whirlpool.

All rooms include a hot, homemade breakfast served in a sunny breakfast room warmed by a fireplace.
