Parking garage attendant dies in freak accident
A parking garage lackey died in a freak accident Thursday adversity when he accidentally drove into a car-lifting organization, cops said.
Denuld Prophete, 64, of Brooklyn, was retrieving a parked 2010 Ford Explorer on every side of 11 p.m. at the Edison Park Fast garage in c~tinuance W. 44th St. near Eighth Ave. at the time he got out and accidentally left the SUV in turn upside down.
Prophete jumped back in and tried to bang the brakes, but mistakenly hit the accelerator instead.
The SUV plowed into a hydraulic organization, which severed part of Prophete’s first place from his neck, cops said. He died at the sight.
Foul play is not suspected.
