From the hearthside discussions of soldiers and families to a musket fire and drill, re-enactors of the 140th New York Volunteers and the 21st Georgia Infantry bring America’s great struggle to life.A rare military medical display will captivate fans of “MASH” and modern medical dramas, as well as other curious folks. Photo buffs, don’t miss Mark Richards of Friendship, NY, who will demonstrate the fine art of tintype photography. The Civil War Encampment runs from 3/6 – 7.If you can’t make it that weekend or are ready for more, the museum continues the historical tour with a Civil War in Art and Artifacts exhibit from 3/5 – 9/6/2010.
