This is a fantastic 4 star hotel with 100 rooms for guests to choose from Tucked away on a quiet street behind a birch-tree facade, this discreet hotel manages to blend modernity and sophistication without sacrificing comfort and warmth. Designed by Aero Studios’ Thomas O’Brien, who’s also done residences for Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren, the hotel’s plush lounge/lobby features a super-sized banquette, gorgeous flowers and original artwork.All 100 crisp, airy rooms and suites feature Frette linens and robes, marble-and-mosaic bathrooms, Fresh bath products, high-speed Internet access and DVD/VCRs.

In-room pantries are stocked with treats from Dean & Deluca and suites include an extra “spa” drawer filled with beauty booty. The stunning Thompson Loft duplex penthouse boasts two private roof decks and a four-poster bed. Rental movies, CDs, laptops, cell phones and personalized stationery are also available.
Some suites have access to the rooftop garden, which has stunning 360-degree views of the city.
